Hey guys in this video I'm going to walk You through the steps on how to set up Cash app on your smartphone device so What we want to do is open up the app Store or the Google Play Store it Depends on if you're on an iPhone or an Android device I'm on an Android so I'm Going to be opening up the Google Play Store but this is going to be a similar Process if you're downloading and Installing cash app on an iPhone you're Just going to be doing it through the App Store but in this example I'm going To be launching the Play store and then Here in the search bar at the top I'm Going to start typing in cash app and I'm going to click on the cash app Result right here here and then that's Going to bring us over to the cash app Which we can install so I'm going to Click on the install button and once the Cash app has installed you can either Open it from this screen right here or We can go back to our homepage and if The cash app doesn't show up on one of Your homepages on your smartphone what We can do is swipe up from the bottom of Our screen and then look to find cash App and we can see that it's right here So I'm going to hold my thumb on it and Then I'm going to drag and drop this Where I want it to be located so I'm Going to drop it right here and now that Cash app icon is located on my homepage

So I'm going to click on the cash app Icon to launch the app itself and you Can either enter a phone or an email to Set up your cash app account for this Example I'm going to use an email so I'm Going to select this option down here Where it says use email so then I'm Going to enter that information in and Then click next then it's going to send You a code to confirm what you had Entered so find that code and then enter It in here and then click next after Confirming that it takes us over to this Next page and this is optional you can Add a bank using your debit card and Linking an external account allows you To move money in and out of your cash App balance using that debit card but You can skip this for now if you'd like To do that by clicking skip here at the Bottom otherwise you can link your card And then click the link card option After that it's going to ask you for Your legal name so this should match the Name on your government ID it's asking For the legal first name and last name Enter in that information and then click Next and then choose a cash tag this is Going to be your unique name for getting Paid by anyone so enter in what you want Your cash tag to be right here and then Click next then enter in your zip code And click next and then if you want you Can go through the process of getting

The cash card you can click next to do That otherwise you can skip this step For now and get it later if you so Choose and then if you'd like you can Give cash app access to your contact so That it's easier to find friends and Family for instance but if you don't Want to give them access to your Contacts then you can skip this step and Then finally that brings us to the Homepage of cash app if you'd like to Look at your account detail information You can click on the little icon image Here in the upper right hand corner you Can either request or pay money right Here through the homepage you can scan a QR code through this option in the upper Lefthand corner then the tabs here at The bottom if you go all the way to the Left hand side if we click on this one This is going to show how much money you Currently have in your cash app account You also have the option of doing things Such as buying stocks you can also buy Some Bitcoin if that's something you're Interested in and you can deposit money Into your cash app account with some Different options down here the next tab Is your cash card if you'd like to set That up essentially it'll give you a Card that's going to be linked up with Your cash app account And if you'd like to do this you can go Through this setup process here the cash

App logo in the middle just takes us Back to the homepage we can also search For people or businesses things such as That if we want to do so up here and Then in the bottom right hand corner It's going to have your activity so Pending or completed transactions things Such as that will show up in this space So I hope this video is helpful walking You through the step-by-step process on How you set up cash app I appreciate you Guys stopping by consider subscribing to The YouTube channel and I'll see you Back here next time
